Venture Carp

The Venturis range is available in two performance ratings. The V1 is a 12ft 3lb model that features five rings from 40mm butt to 12mm tip ring and is powerful enough for PVA bag work but is still forgiving enough for margin work and playing fish under the tip.

The V2 is the big one at 13ft 3.25lb. If it’s the big chucks or distance fishing on the largest of waters then this is the tool for you! The V2 features a larger 50mm butt ring to help you reach those greater distances. Both models have been extensively tested on the most demanding of venues – and they passed with flying colours helping to land fish up to nearly 76lb – need we say more?

Designed by legendary big carp catcher and two times World Champion Steve Briggs, the VXR is the Aston Martin of carp rods. Fed up of seeing cheap poor performance blanks on the market, Venture contacted the best rod builder in the game - Steve Harrison of Harrison Advanced rods in the UK - and asked him to build the best product he could to our specifications, and hey presto, this incredible rod was born!

Based on the best selling Torrix blank with extra carbon wraps, the VXR is 12ft 6in and available in two high performance ratings. The VXR-1 is the lighter version at 3¼lb whilst the VXR-2 is stepped-up to 3¾lb for the longer range angler. Both rods have been punished during field-trials; tested at incredible venues like Rainbow Lake and Lac de St Cassien, and both most certainly are worthy of being the flagships of the 2007 Venture range.
