The Avid Carp Flat Clip, enables anglers to change rigs quickly and effectively. They have a multitude of uses and can be used for anything that needs to be attached or removed with minimum fuss, like leads, marker floats and spods.

Anglers have suffered with their tungsten tubing sliding up the line out of their tailrubbers for years.
We’ve designed the Tube Gripper Clip to combat this problem, gripping the tubing when closed, preventing it from pulling out and sliding up the line.

Tangles are feared by every carp angler, so we’ve designed a product for mesh PVA bag fishing that avoids this problem. Simply attach the PVA Metal Link to your lead, slide on a PVA bag and hook in your rig. Done!

The Chod Rig is one of the most popular presentations in use today. We’ve invented a bead that allows anglers to use this setup on leadcore or directly on their main line. It’s safe, easy to use and very inconspicuous on the lakebed.
To help thread them on they come supplied on wires. If you are using leadcore or fluorocarbon leaders just thread the Chod Bead down onto your leader before tying to your main line. If you’re fishing the naked chod directly on to your main line, just take the bead off the wire and thread using a small baiting needle.

A purpose made item that when used with an Avid Groove Lead produces the perfect drop-off setup.
Drop-Off in-line setups are a popular but technical method of attaching the lead when fishing in weedy lakes. Attach both leader/main line to the same ring as your hooklink then insert into the Avid In-line Groove lead long or short insert.
Once a take occurs the stem will easily come free from the insert allowing the lead to drop away from the tail rubber ensuring you stay in contact with the fish and not risking the lead getting caught in the weed.

IN-LINE INSERTS are designed to work with the Avid Carp lead range. They are available in two different lengths to suit different angler’s requirements.

Avid Carp TAIL RUBBERS are designed to be used in conjunction with a number of products in the terminal tackle range, like our leadclips and in-line leads. The soft rubber tails will neaten and streamline your setup.

No setup would be complete without a SWIVEL. It has the main connection between you and the fish and therefore needs to be as reliable as possible. We‚have sourced the strongest, low-glare swivels we could find, that fit with just about everything in the Avid Carp terminal tackle range.

Here at Avid Carp we’re always looking to combat problems and provide solutions, and one flagship idea based around this ethos is our Thread and Go! Tubing. Painstakingly threading tubing onto the main line has been a problem for anglers for years, but we have found the answer. By providing Tungsten Tubing that’s pre-threaded onto wires, all anglers have to do is loop through their main line, thread on the tubing and then start fishing! The tubing doesn’t come in coils, and there’s enough in each pack for all three rods. Thread and Go – it really is that simple.

Not just another distance style lead.
We have purposely given it an oval shape instead of a round profile seen on other leads. This eliminates some movement when the lead is in flight and reduces roll. At the swivel end a flat is formed this helps keep the lead stable in flight reducing tangles. The swivel has also been coated to match the lead helping the whole rig blend in with its surroundings.

The IN-LINE SAFETY is the ultimate in lead design. This lead incorporates a quick change option with a safety lead clip set-up, all in one in-line lead.
Unlike leads of similar design the insert in very loose enabling you to adjust the tension needed for the lead to drop free just like a standard lead clip. If at some point you need to change the lead size then this can be done as easy as just pulling the tail rubber away and sliding the lead off and at the end of your session you can quickly slide the lead free preventing damage on your rods. Even weight, low lying
The Flat Swivel lead came about when we looked at how high some leads look when viewed underwater. We wanted a lead that would keep low to the ground and have even weight distribution. This lead did just what we wanted. We were so happy with this shape we continued the design into all our flat leads making sure they stay low and are less obtrusive when sitting on the lake bed. The Flat swivel lead flies extremely well and blends in very well in its surroundings making it a must have lead for all.
